Sleep!

This is totally the laziness coming out in me, but after working 20ish hours every week, going to school for 40ish hours every week plus homework, and two different mutual activities every night I don't work, I'm just exhausted. Sleep is a very good thing, and I am completely and seriously grateful for it.

Good Days

There's really not one big thing I'm grateful for today. I mean, I am grateful for a lot of things today, but nothing big. It was just a good day, and I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful to be able to go to church on Sunday, I'm grateful to be able to have some time with my family. I'm seriously grateful!

Relaxing

Standing up for 7 hours is hard. I'm grateful to have a job. I'm grateful to be able to come home and not have to do anything. I'm seriously grateful!

No-Chore Days

Aren't those just the bees knees? I happen to think so. They're days that you can just sit back, relax, or you can get homework done that was supposed to be turned in a while ago. Whatevs. :) I'm grateful to have time to get whatever I want done. I'm grateful for no chores. I'm seriously grateful!

My New Job!

I got a job! I'm really excited! It's a really good paying with good hours job! The best part is that I won't have to give up babysitting! I'm really grateful to have this opportunity. It's seriously an answer to prayers. I have a lot of things to pay for school and I was worried about how it would all be paid. It's a really big blessing to get this! I'm grateful to have this job. I'm grateful for the flexibility.I'm grateful for answered prayers. I'm seriously grateful!

Late Start Days

I got to, kind of, sleep in today! I didn't have to wake up until 7:30 when I took my mom to work! It was nice! I didn't have to go to school until 9:30, and that was only because I got to go teach preschool! Oh man, good times! I'm grateful I could sleep in! I'm grateful school started later! I'm grateful that I don't have school tomorrow or Friday! I'm seriously grateful!

PLT

At my school, there's this class you can take called Peer Leadership Team. It's only available to juniors and seniors and is pretty much the bees knees. I'm taking it this year and took it last year as well. I'm not even kidding it is so fun! We get to go around to assigned elementary schools hang out with, mostly, 6th graders, sometimes we do other grades, and teach them skills to get out of bad situations. (IE drugs, alcohol, violence, bullying. Those kind of things) . Today, after almost two months of practicing, we finally got to go to a school. We did an assembly for the whole school! It was so much fun! The kids were really great and were wanting to learn. It was a blast! I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to be in this class. I"m grateful for the opportunity to teach these kids skills that they will really need to use. I'm grateful that I get to be with my friends and make new friends through this awesome class. I'm seriously grateful!

Preschool

I'm not even kidding you. I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to play with and teach some of the cutest four-year-olds' you've ever met. They're so cute and funny! My favorite thing about them is probably how accepting and forgiving they are. Honestly, they're just so different from the high schoolers I'm usually around, it's nice to have a break! I'm grateful for they're sweetness. I'm grateful for them. I'm seriously grateful!

Great Friends and Special Needs Mutual

     I didn't write yesterday because I was at an AWESOME choir concert (mine was the most awesome was my choir by the way ;)) and when I got home I was EXHAUSTED! Just plain ol' puckered out. It was worth it though, because I got to be with great friends for a couple hours and just hang out for the most part. I had so much just talking with friends I hadn't talked to in a while and those I had talked to just a few hours earlier! I love my friends and am so grateful to have them in my life.
     Today I am grateful for Special Needs Mutual. I go to the church every Thursday and have a blast with my buddy and the other girls in the class, even if my buddy hasn't come for 2 weeks. The boys had their talent show tonight and they were just fun to watch. They are a very talented group of people with very brave buddies! ;) I'm super grateful to have the opportunity to go to Special Needs Mutual every week.

I'm seriously grateful.

Young Women

I had mutual tonight! I don't normally come home feeling like it wasn't a waste of time or that we could've done something more productive. Tonight, was actually a lot of fun. We went and got manicures at the tech center. It's definitely a $5 manicure but it was time well spent. I had a lot of fun talking to the other girls and talking to my leaders. PLUS! I now have cute halloween nails. I say that qualifies me as being festive. ;) Afterwards we went back to the church to practice our songs for the program at the end of the month. We sounded pretty dang good if you ask me! (at least when we got the timing right!) I'm grateful that I could have such awesome leaders that try to make mutual enjoyable. I'm grateful for a small ward that we have more options than normal. I'm grateful for great girls that I like to spend time with, even if there are only 4 young women total. :)  I am seriously grateful!

Days Off From School

Aren't days off from school the best? They just make the week that much better! You have time to catch up on stuff for school, to relax or spend time with family, you can even just spend the day emptying your DVR. ;) I'm just grateful that I did have they day off. I am seriously grateful.

General Conference

I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to listen to the prophets and apostles of the Lord. This October I have gotten more out Conference then I have at any others. Some talks I was honestly just shocked at how it was exactly it answered a question I had asked, or seemed to be just what I needed to hear. I am so grateful that I am blessed enough to be able to watch it from my own home and learn in the comfort of my pajamas with tons of yummy food just in the other room. I am seriously grateful.
